Toronto, May 1 , 2023 — The Toronto Canadian Club is proud to announce the arrival of Alexis Maquin as Assistant General Manager, effective immediately, alongside General Manager Richard Kempler. Alexis will officially assume the role of General Manager on July 1.
Alexis Maquin is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in business management and development, having served as general manager of a training center and founder of two companies. Holding two master's degrees in history and international management, Alexis has studied and worked in numerous countries, including France, Northern Ireland, Belgium, Malta, Canada, the United States, and Peru. Having held senior positions in various industries, including education, brewing, and landscaping, he will bring his expertise to the Canadian Club of Toronto.
Lise Béland, president of the Canadian Club of Toronto, expressed her delight at the new appointment: “We are thrilled to welcome Alexis Maquin as the Club’s future executive director. With his experience, we are confident he will bring a fresh vision and innovative ideas to continue growing our organization.”
For his part, Richard Kempler welcomed this passing of the torch: "I am happy to hand over the reins to Alexis Maquin, who possesses all the necessary skills to lead the Canadian Club of Toronto to new heights. I am convinced that he will maintain the operational excellence and dynamism of our organization."
An active member of the Greater Toronto Area's Francophone community, Alexis Maquin expressed his enthusiasm at joining the Canadian Club of Toronto: "I am honored to take the helm of this prestigious and vibrant organization.
