From Tribute to Heritage: An inspiring continuity

The history of this prize reflects the evolution of our community. Initially created in 2019 as the Tribute Prize, it was renamed the Stéphane Teasdale Tribute Prize from 2021 to 2025.

This temporary change was intended to honour the memory and legacy of Stéphane Teasdale following his death, as part of a specific, time-limited commitment.

With this commemorative cycle having come to an end, the Canadian Club of Toronto has chosen to evolve this distinction, starting in 2026, under the name RelèveON Heritage Award. This new name reflects a spirit of continuity, transmission, and recognition of the exemplary journeys that inspire the next generation of Francophones, both today and tomorrow.

In memory of Stéphane Teasdale

Although the name of the prize changes, the spirit remains. His commitment, values, and career continue to inspire the identity of the RelèveON Heritage Award, thus perpetuating an ideal of leadership and community contribution.
